The CPMEF awards a variety of Grants and Scholarships to CPMs and their organizations. The information below describes the current programs.
These are grants of services, fees, or goods. For example, merchandise donated to the foundation for the benefit of a society or the academy to raise money through silent auctions or raffles to fund a seminar for Certified Public Managers® or for other qualifying charitable causes. Another example of in-kind grant is speaker fees. Speakers may donate all or a portion of their fees to the foundation for the benefit of a society or the academy when conducting educational seminars for Certified Public Managers®. These donated fees may be granted to a Society of the Academy to accomplish the mission of the Foundation.
The entity or person wishing to use the in-kind donation for purposes of
providing educational or development opportunities to Certified Public
Managers® must submit a request for such grant in writing to the
foundation using the CPMEF Grant Application. The request should fully explain the use of the grant and how it will accomplish the mission of the foundation.
The CPMEF Travel Grant assists a CPM to attend a local, regional or national CPM conference or training event that they would otherwise not be able to attend by providing funds to cover some part of their registration and/or travel costs.
The Wilkinson Scholarship is to be awarded annually to a deserving AACPM member who is furthering their professional education through a formal education program.
